one of the bands was performing at the concourse today at vivace, complete with the angsty screaming and attitude type of songs. and to think i actually wanted to be like that =) *linkinpark*
think vivace, if anything, is passion on display. we had what? over 60 booths where entire worlds and communities open their doors and windows in this once-a-year showcase. promises of excitement, fulfilment, fun and exposure ushered in by bright colours and loud noises... everyone at their welcoming best...
so let it be...

All you want
was on the train heading home, totally tired from the running, kayaking, dinner and fireworks, knowing that i still had a job to do. really didn't want to, but was gald i did anyway. cos yeah, you can rest all you want when you get home. until then, labour on!!

And i still haven't found
had quite an incredible day today =) bounced from bishan to bras basah to upper seletar to raffles city to punggol to hougang to choa chu kang to nuh then to home! played badminton, toured our new smu campus, caught the sunshine at the reservoir, had bible study training, watched the waves lap the shore before dropping off my friends and picking up my sis.
must set aside time in the new term to do these things. =) esle school will just be school...

Sunday morning
so5b's coming over to my place later today!! =)
our once-a-year, gonna treasure every minute of it! can't believe how fast it's been since the last, the photos are still quite fresh on my wall. wonder if anyone will be in the mood for sparklers in the park. =)

The Father's love for us

am i fully satisfied with God's love?
because if i'm not, then i will bound to look for love elsewhere, be it in the things that i do for my own sake, or in relationships with people. and these things last but just for a while.
am working towards being contented; God sent His son to die that we may be brought back to Him, how else would you have shown love to your creation if you were in His shoes?

Tree top sushi
went for the tree top hike with nick and rebecca! had a really nice time catching up with the two of them. it's true, there really isn't much to do on a hike than to talk! and what esle could 20-somethings talk about?? so here's the list: unconsciously bright, naturally selfless, eternally optimistic, spellbindingly beautiful, and she's all of the above to everyone especially me!!! hahaha =) (man, i would hate to read and live up to that someone esle's list... =)
am i a kid trapped in my pretty princess world or what??
had lunch at sakae sushi with joy and nr! oh man, the fun we had playing with the coloured plates! =) that's got to be a cheaper alternative... =P
